In further support of women candidates, ElectWomen Magazine is creating a job bank and consultants page to connect job seekers and consulting resources with female political campaigns.   ElectWomen Magazine is an online media site dedicated to providing resources and information for women candidates and their supporters, as well as sharing stories and important women’s political news.

“There are hundreds of campaign staff coming off of the busy presidential election season of 2008 who are looking for work,” said ElectWomen Magazine Publisher, Kathy Groob.  “Despite 2009 being an off year for elections, there are campaigns gearing up for 2010 and candidates seeking qualified professionals.  Our goal is to help connect the two.”

Job seekers are requested to submit specific criteria and will be listed by geographic proximity on the new Job Bank section.  Consultants in the areas of general campaign management, speech and message coaching, polling, opposition research, fundraising, direct mail, media, grassroots organizing and website/new media are invited to submit their qualifications and contact information.

Since its launch in January 2009, ElectWomen.com has received thousands of visitors to the women’s political blog/website dedicated to electing women to public office.  Story contributors to ElectWomen.com come from a wide array of political backgrounds.  The contributors write articles and offer advice to women thinking about or running for political office.  ElectWomen Magazine is a non-partisan, independent media site.
